I went on a jaunty saunter,
With I as my only partner.

The beach was a serene reach,
I had opted for my rapture.

The weather was sultry and sun-baked,
But the waves left me complete dazzled.

I thought I was the only one,
Alone, fortuitous and delighted for once.

When I saw a myriad of people all alive,
Having their own solitary me-time.
