Picture Perfect.! ♡

I was sitting on a bench in the garden all by myself lost in some thoughts and my eyes were fixed towards the sky as it didn’t wanted to see anything else. After a long half hour when I decided I should leave for home, my eyes caught a man who was striving to get the best shot.

When I shifted my pupil out of curiosity to know what was he trying to capture so avidly, I saw a girl whom I assumed to be his love. After few moments, I perceived that he was trying to capture the moments spent with his girl. Every time he clicked a picture of hers, he didn’t seem to be satisfied with it. He wanted to take her finest image into his camera but every time he tried, he failed. Not even a single snap of her had the sparkle in her eyes or a smile on her face. After those imperfect attempts, he sat next to her with a sigh of sadness. After few moments, something struck his mind, he sprung up and started walking towards me.

For a micro second, I thought did he notice that I was constantly spying on them. While I was wondering, he cleared my dilemma by asking me to click a picture of him and his girl. I amicably accepted his request and walked towards where she was waiting for him. While I was positioning the camera, he sat next to her and held her with all his love. And when I clicked them, I found it to be the perfect picture as it had the sparkle in her eyes and a broad smile on her face because she had the love of her life by her side.

My Driving Classes.!

Now-a-days, I don’t have much things to do except to wait for my results and because all of my friends are in other cities, sitting at home is the only task I have to perform whole-heartedly. As all this was making me lazy-bones, I decided to do something new. After many head-banging and mind-boggling sessions, I chose to learn how to drive a car and so, my father got me enrolled into a driving school.

The first five days were to be of theory classes. When I reached the class 5 minutes before scheduled time,    i.e., 8:30 in the morning, I saw just a single person who was almost my age (according to my perception) sitting there. Sir started the lecture exactly on time so I thought that no one else was going to turn up. But just after few moments, a woman who was just a year or two older than me and her father who seemed to be quite older than my father, entered the classroom. They took their respective seats silently and the lecture continued.

In between the discourse, my thoughts took flight towards that old man who was all excited to learn something new. There are many things that our elders teach us with their immense experiences and today, this person taught me that there is no limit to have knowledge about anything. Most of the things doesn’t require age, the only thing it requires is the aim to achieve it and the zeal to inculcate it in your life. With this thought and a smile on my face which had broadened, I landed my flight of thoughts and concentrated in the class with more enthusiasm.

Love is…! ♥

Love is the smile on a mother’s face when she holds her daughter for the first time,

Love is the warm hug of a mother whenever her daughter needs support and encouragement,

Love is the scolding of a mother on her daughter’s face when she commits a mistake,

Love is the teardrop on a mother’s cheek when her daughter leaves to start a new life,

Love is the happiness of a mother when she hears the news of becoming a grandmother,

Love is the heart of a mother which always cares and prays for her daughter’s wellbeing.

Till now, only my mother could explain what love is, not by her words but just by her smile, her hugs, her scoldings, her tears, her happiness and her care.
Love you Maa.! ♡
