Biggest Microbrewery In Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore

If you ever run out of food, grab a beer. It will always fill you up!

I love trying different types of craft beer and keep looking for the best food to go with it. And could it get any better if a place comes with a menu which suggests the best food pairing to go along with it ?

Float brewery is one of the biggest microbrewery in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore among the three which does so. It is spread widely over 5 floors with a beautiful rooftop giving you an amazing view of the city in the evenings.

It serves 4 exotic beers on tap which is brewed by the very famous, English Craft Brewing Co. Lets have a look on all the types and variety of foods that can be paired along with them.

  • BAVARIAN HEFEWEIZEN — It is a German style wheat beer which is more on the maltier side and fruity, banana-like in flavor which makes it less bitter for our taste buds. The best dish to match it with is the Chengdu Chicken which is cooked in szechuan sauce and as this dish is spicy, it goes great with the Hefe.
  • BELGIAN WIT — This one is yet another wheat beer but Belgian style. It’s a very sweet and fruity beer which contains orange and coriander as a twist. This witbier best pairs with the piquant Chilli Chicken, my favorite.
  • MARZEN MUNICH LAGER — It’s one of the most invigorating lager beer from Munich and has a little bit of everything in its flavor. It has a malty taste with a touch of hops too and gels well with Crumb fried Buttermilk Chicken which is soaked in buttermilk for about 12 hours and served with spicy mayo.
  • TRIPLE WIT IPA — I am a fan of this ale which is a traverse of Belgian wit and IPA. It is the strongest of all and the hoppy taste makes me fall in love with it every time. The Goan Pork Roast which is cooked with hot n sour Goan masala is the best choice to have along with this beer.

So if you are a beer fan and love trying craft beers, give this place a visit and I bet you are going to love it.

LIVING MEMORIES..!

Sometimes I miss the way I used to be,
Since the world changed unknowingly.

Even though my dreams were far fetched,
Thinking about it gave me a kind of happiness.

After gaining what I had lost once,
Longing for it more showed my weakness.

This made me grow up a bit in the midst,
And now my heart is in a state of complete bliss.

#ITS STILL OKAY !

When I see you walking away to never turn back,
My eyes go wet and yours are no dry.
Its raining and I cannot see your tears,
So, its still okay.!

When I see you fall and get up back,
I wanna hold you and you wish I was by your side.

image

Its late and you wanna be strong,
So, its still okay..!

When I try to forget you but memories keep coming back,
I wanna run to you and you wanna wait for me too.
Its dark and you are at a better place,
So, its still okay…!

Mundane Monday Challenge » 7

This is a challenge created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs and pingback to Trablogger.

Anyone who comes across this post can take part in this challenge. And you are free to challenge or invite other bloggers who might be interested in finding beauty in those everyday things all around us.

A wide road ahead.!

So this is my seventh entry for this Mundane Monday Challenge. Hope you like it. 🙂

The Retro Queens.!

The first thing that we wait for after joining a college, it may be for any program like a graduate degree or a post graduate degree is the “freshers’ night”. 😛 I don’t know about everyone but truly speaking I do wait for it.

It’s not just a night, it’s that night where we are able to open up for the first time from all the fears and limitations we have, we get a chance to know our seniors and even some of our own batchmates, the environment out there, some of us even discover our unknown and hidden talents.

And most of it happened with us ( us includes me and my newly-found-turned-out-to-be-great friends). 😉 Most of all, I still can’t imagine it took me almost an hour to get into the theme person given by our seniors which was the retro look. We had put in a hell lot of effort to match up with the retro queens and some of them actually succeeded in it (though not me 😦 ). So have a look on the modern-retro look of us. 😛

Although the clouds are telling that they are gonna rain at any moment but alas, they disappeared after sometime.
Getting to see those dark black clouds is like a dream here in Vellore. 😦
